How to fix the message issue on AT&T Samsung Rugby II
I find one boring message problem on my Samsung Rugby II for AT&T, which is while I sending a message, the progress suddently stops, the send menu slides back, cancels the message, and saves it to my outbox. The unsent message has a red circle with a line through it. But in fact the messages are not sent out. AT&T Cell Phone Problems and Solutions
As for this issue for att Rugby II, I call AT&T to ask why the phone has this problem. They told me that there is some problem with my handset, but it is because of the software update. And they ask me to send it back to replace one. Then I do it, sadly, when I try to send message with my new samsung rugby 2, the same problem appears. SHit!
Now I can make sure that this is a bug for Samsung Rugby 2, I hope AT&T or samsung will provide a fix for this bug as soon as possible. But before the update come to rugby II, I have some solutions for this problem.
If you send a text message and press send and it just takes you back to the main menu, and you think you lost the text you spent so much time to write, do this: Hit message on the main menu, select outbox. Your text will still be there. Select it and it will give you an option to resend.
In addtion, when you send the message , you only use the center button instead of the one that the phone indicates to use (upper right) and it works fine right not. Hope this works for you!
