AT&T to release the android 2.3 Version of Sony Ericsson Xperia Play soon

AT&T quietly introduces a powered by android 2.3 version of Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, but AT&T don’t give a specific price and an exact release date about the Xperia Play. At present we have known that AT & T’s Xperia Play is designedwith a 4-inch capacitive TFT LCD screen pixel screen, a 5.1-Megapixel camera, and supports 480p recording. It is equiped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz Scorpion single core CPU, it will run on Android 2.3 OS, also the phone support AT&T’s HSPA+ network at 21Mbps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi hotspots. Today when I try to connect my Samsung Infuse 4G phone for AT&T with my home network via the WiFi, sadly I’m told that I can’t get the wifi to connect on my home network. Actually, the fixs is very simple, just follow the steps below:

1. With the wifi on go to settings

2,wifi settings

3. Press the menu button and select “advanced”

4.The MAC address will be listed, copy or remember the MAC address

5. When connect your phone with the Network via WiFi, manually enter the phone’s MAC ID onto the allowed Devices list in the router,

How to update firmware on AT&T Samsung Captivate with USB Cable

To update the firmware on AT&T Samsung Captivate, jsut follow these steps below :
1. From your computer, download Kies Mini from here:

2. After download the update tool v11011-4 , follow the onscreen instructions to install it. Then an icon will be created on your PC desktop.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray could be released by AT&T in the US

Good news for AT&T smartphone lovers, the recently introduced new Sony Ericsson phone - Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray has just arrived at FCC, it suggests that the Xperia Ray may hit North America soon. According to the passed FCC tests report, it shows that the Ray supports UMTS II and UMTS V bands (850 MHz and 1900 MHz) for AT&T 3G brand, so it could be released by AT&T in the US.
