Late last month, Samsung confirmed that they will bring to Samsung galaxy S II into the North American through the Canada . But Canada’s three major carriers Bell, SaskTel and Virgin neither gives an exact release date. Now Bell quietly released news to claim that the Galaxy S II will be officially on sale on July 21.
Samsung Galaxy S 2 is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 4a .3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 2.0 megapixel front camera and a 8 megapixel rear camera with a flash and 1080p video recorded.

Why this phone will be released in Canada before the U.S. market, there are a lot of speculations. Part of the reason may be because the U.S. carriers have not expressed great interest in galaxy S ii. This handset is based on GSM, it need carrier’s custom design and applications to support CDMA.

The Samsung galaxy S ii for Bell is priced at $170 with 3-year contacts, if you don’t want to sign an agreement, you need to pay $600 for it. While Galaxy S II will be sold by SaskTel for nearly $83 with three year agreement. Let’s guess how much the U.S. carriers will price the Samsung Galaxy S ii, and when it will arrive at US?
