AT&T Pantech Pursuit User Reviews

As we known, the Pantech Pursuit is pantech‘s first touchscreen phone with a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, aslo it is a new quick message phone for AT&T. Like most quick messaging phones, the pursuit does good at quick texting and social media, as it is equiped with a great QWERTY keyboard with playful compact design, also it is pre-installed supports facebook and Twitter applications. Especially the AT&T Pursuit has a unique “shake” control trigger, with the feature, you can easily control your device.

The Pantech Pursuit comes with a nice cute design a textured no-slip back to the homescreen and rotating lock screens, also it offer two fresh clors, blue and green. Therefore I have to say it is suitable for teenagers or kids who often text messages. WHile if there were a pink verison, it should be more popular with a lot of teenage girl.

It is very intuitive to use the Pantech Pursuit, easily navigation, clear and good looking menus. You can find everything that you expect on AT&T pursuit, AT&T 3G , a 2 MP camera with 7X zoom, video sharing, GPRS, bluetooth 2.0 and a memory card slot up to 32 GB. We can say it is great little messaging phone that is fun to use and is affordable as well, as it is only priced $49.99 with new contract.

However, as a touchscreen phone, I think the screen size for Pantech Pursuit is too small, only for 2.8 inch.

Too much bloatware. Looking for a geek to help me get all this crap off the phone. If not for that, it would be a nice phone.

The Pantech Pursuit is a major disappointment. The camera is complicated, useless, takes very poor quality pics and there is no flash. In a word, the camera is worthless crap. The touch screen is extremely finicky and can鈥檛 decide if it wants to be overly sensitive or just not responsive at all. All 鈥榮ent鈥 text messages are stored in an 鈥淚nbox鈥 instead of a separate folder for 鈥淪ent鈥 messages (how weird is that)? The slide-out QWERTY keyboard is great and in fact is the only good thing about the phone (but the keyboard lacks arrow keys for scrolling which would be nice). Operation of the various functions on the phone is erratic and unpredictable. Battery life is extremely poor. I still haven鈥檛 figured out how to have the phone send text messages to a contacts MOBILE instead of HOME phone number when both are in the directory (even when they are labeled correctly). Doesn鈥檛 the stupid software in the phone KNOW to send text messages to the MOBILE number? Functionality with the Sync system in my car is limited and very unreliable. The worst part is that the user manual is useless and the documentation and user help for this phone are worse than pathetic. I really hate this phone.

My sister and i both had this phone (mine was blue and hers was green) and they both broke within a year. i personally loved it although she didn鈥檛. but it said it had “water damage” although i NEVER dropped it in water and never got it wet. just one day it didnt turn on..? My sisters died of “water damage” too.
