Today when I try to make a call with my sister overseas using Skype on wifi via My Motorola Atrix 4G, while my sister hears nothing but lots of screeching background noise. Iater I try to call with the Voip through my Atrix 4g, finally I fail, too. Then I call AT&T service to ask for help, sadly, they told me that this is a problem with Atrix 4G, currently neither VOIP, nor Skype work on Motorola Atrix! A little disappoiting! In addtion, I was told this is common problem with att atrix 4g, there is no a fix for this problem so far. Well, it is reported that motorola is going to release the new android 2.3 bingerbread update for Atrix 4G, I hope that they fix this problem with an upcoming update. Fortunately, You have two choices until Motorola fixes it: Use Tango or Qik in the meantime or wait until Skype makes the software compatible (very unlikely because Skype for Android sucks and is updated only very rarely.
