The update is now available via download from your Bravo phone. I downloaded mine today and an now operating on Android 2.2.1

I did not sign up for the pre-release, so this is the actual update that will be available to everyone.

I got the software update and it completely got rid of my homepage. I can only receive calls. I cannot make calls, text, or anything. It sucks.

@Heather… Same thing happened to me. I downloaded the software, the phone rebooted and all I got was a white toolbar with a black non functioning screen. Called ATT and after about 45 minutes with customer service a tech told me this was happening to a lot of customers and it was a Motorola issue. He gave me their toll free number. I spent about an hour on my friends cell phone talking to 2 different techs at Motorola as they were trying to walk me thru a reset but the phone just locked up. So the tech gave me a reference # to take to an ATT retail store to get a new Bravo. Make sure you go to an ATT owned store. I talked to the manager of the store and after 30 minutes they ordered me a new phone but I have to wait a week to get it. It鈥檚 the biggest bunch of BS I鈥檝e ever been through with a so called telecommunications company that I pay a lot of hard earned to on time every month. Seems to me ATT was not completely prepared for upgrade issues and they certainly aren鈥檛 putting customers who have those issues on the front burner.
