Recently, some technology blog exposed that Apple‘s next-generation mobile phone operating system iOS 5.0 will no longer support the iPhone 3GS ,but only support the current iPhone 4 and the new apple iphone -iphone 5.

Apple iOS 5.0 has not be released so far, but now the highest widely used version is iOS 4.3.3, compatible models including the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad 1 / 2, iPod Touch 3 / 4.

As we known, the iOS 4.0 was released last June compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and the iPhone 4. Of course, some features of iOS 4 are not compatible with the first two models. Until earlier this year when Apple released the iOS 4.3, the iPhone 3G has been abandoned at this time to stay in the iOS 4.2.1.

If iOS 5 only suport the iPhone 4 and more advanced systems, it indicates that the iOS 5 has elatively high requirements iOS 5in hardware, and currently Apple iPhone 3GS is still on sale on official website, and its price is not cheap.
