We learn that today the newest Root update - 4.157 for AT&T Motorola ATRIX 4G has been available, and it is said by XDA forums user named “ShawnBunk”, the new update blocks the current ways of attaining root for the device. However, if you have root before you update, it is possible to retain this during the upgrade.”

In addtion, this root is directed to the Atrix owners who already had rooted their device with the 4.126 version and is designed to retain the root.
