Samsung has held a press conference in London to announce the  Galaxy S III smartphone for us , however, Samsung has not done any  marketing activities for its latest Android 4.0 devices . According to News.com, it is reported that Samsung will  hold a conference on  June 20 in New York to lanuch the galaxy s3 for North American market.
It is  learned that Micrsoft will also hold conference at the same day  for the Windows Phone 8 OS. It is reported that  currently galaxy s3  sold in Europeis powered by a  quad-core processor, however, the U.S. version of the Galaxy S III won’t be equiped with  the quad-core processors , but it will  run  Qualcomm’s dual-core chips .

US Galaxy S III will also work with the android 4.0 ICS OS, it has a 4.8 -inch high-definition Super AMOLED display , the U.S. version galaxy s3  supports  4G LTE network .

Previously Samsung announced that the five major wireless  carriers in U.S, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-mobile and U.S. Cellular, as well as the Canadian operators will start to  release the galaxy s 3  later this month. It is reported that Apple is trying to  prevent Samsung galaxy S3′s sell  violated Apple’s two patents.

Update on June 9: According to phonescoop, the Samsung Galaxy S III  will be pre on sale via U.S. Cellular starting June 12th, and we also heard that its variant of the  Galaxy S III will cost $199 and $249 for the 16GB and 32GB versions, respectively. of course, a two year agreements is still required, but there is no a $100 rebate unlike other carriers.  Learn more from U.S. Cellular.
