Because I just got the  Samsung Galaxy S II from AT&T, and I search the way to  how to root the galaxy s ii for myself for a long time in the android forum, I find that many users have the same feel as me, which is it is so diffcult to root the galaxy s ii. Ok, now I finally find a fool-style tutorial to get one rooted  Galaxy S II, now I share the method here with you, enjoy! AT&T Android Phones

Requirements:  we need to prepare some files and apps before rooting galaxy s ii, including:

• KIES
• ODIN
• Flashable System Image File

Steps to Get rooted AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II- AT&T Cell Phone TIps&Tricks

1. Download the KIES above and install it on your computer. This will install the required drivers on your PC for ODIN to work without issues.

2. Make sure you have the KIES has been installed on your PC, then download the ODIN  app above to your PC

3. Now unzip ODIN zip folder and make a new folder named ODIN on your desktop , then copy the extracted files to this folder.

4. Once done, download the System Image zip file from here, extract PDA.tar and copy it to ODIN folder on your desktop.

5. Now click on Odin3 V1.85 to launch the application.

6. Power off your phone completely and reboot it whole holding volume down button simultaneously with home and power buttons.

7.After you are in the download mode, connect your phone to the computer via USB cable that came with your phone.

8. Now sit back and relax while ODIN flashes this kernel on your phone. AT&T Samsung galaxy s ii Attain info

9. After the procedure is complete, your phone will auto reboot.

10. In case your phone ends up in a bootloop after flashing the .tar file, reboot your phone in 3e Recovery and do Wipe / Data factory reset.
