    If u actually learn to read more its the LAW. AT&T must give you your unlock code regardless once its over 90days when u purchase ur fone. I just did it, but normally they try to play dumb and tell u they cannot do such thing but if u read up about it its the law

    i just called them and told them i was moving to europe and wanted to still use my phone and they said to “do not support unlocking phones”’ what should i say to them when i call back

    Nate, if you call back, you may get a different person. Experience has shown me that the customer service reps are not all the same. Some say this and then another says yeah sure, no problem, let me get that started for you. You could point out that they should follow the law which says they can’t refuse you an unlock code.

    What is the name of the law that says they must give you an unlock code? I find official sounding jargon gets people moving more than saying that “some law” says so.
