AT&T Cell Phones

The Sierra Wireless Aircard 875 comes with  tri-band coverage in high speed UMTS/HDPA areas as well as quad-band coverage on GPRS/EDGE networks. AT&T’s newest Sierra Wireless AirCard has you covered.

Though the Aircard 875  isn’t as fast as I saw at home, but it’s still HSDPA. International roamers should beware of the monthly fees, though. Cingular’s international plan costs $139.99 per month and includes only 100MB of overseas data, with additional data costing $5 per MB. Of course, you get unlimited data in the U.S. for that rate, or for $69.99 per month on a U.S.-only plan.

AT&T’s AirCard 875 is a good choice for high-speed connectivity on PC Card based laptops. Still, I prefer the 875U USB dongle for its additional flexibility and speed.
