Samsung Omnia coming to AT&T
The Samsung Omnia (which we first heard about at CommunicAsia) might be coming to AT&T this year according to the folks over at the Boy Genius Report.The AT&T Samsung Omnia is just a rumor for now, but it still is聽 a very likely possibility. The handset was recently announced, and judging by the specs, it would top every other current touch phone in the US market. That would be saying a lot, since the LG Dare, VU & Voyager along with the Samsung Glyde & Instinct are all superb devices.
The Samsung Omnia other specs are pretty well know: a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device with a 5 megapixel camera with face detection, quad-band EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, 3.2鈥 WQVGA touch screen (sadly it鈥檚 240脳400), Bluetooth, and either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory. We鈥檙e working on some press shots for y鈥檃ll, but in the meantime, go on and keep comparing it to the iPhone 3G鈥
