samsung A177 – New AT&T Gophones review

The new at&t gophones- samsung A177聽 is a good phone comes to the GoPhone user. personally I think it’s one of the best phones out there short of the iPhone. It looks good (better in black than orange IMO) sounds good, has a bright screen and easy menus. Camera is decent for what it is.Obviously it is the upgrade version of pantech slate, which is also entry-level messaging phone, but its keys are

tiny, so if you are big finger, you had better don’t choose it.

this phone is great, ive had it for about 5 months now, and its great… its strong, durable, fast, and so on.. my only problem is that the bluetooth will not adapt to other phone (it may just be a problem with mine) or that u cannot recieve any ringtone if it exceeds 14 seconds… over all its a great phone and i highly recomend it. 4 outta 5 stars!!!!!! ****

I have had the Samsung A177 for about 7months and have had no problems until yesterday when it started stalling and then restarting but now it just turns off. It started after I sent a long message so that could be the problem. Please help

After 3-4 months the A177 began having TERRIBLE RECEPTION. Where other AT&T Go-phones had some bars, I had none. People on the other end could barely hear me.

About the same time, the phone began to cut off when I would hit the send button for text messages. I thought some of it was placement of the send key so close to the Off key, but there have plainly been times when I was really careful to hit the right key, and it still cuts off.

    If I had a do-over, I wouldn’t pay more than $20 for the thing.

I had this phone for 3 months. I have gotten used to the tiny keys. I wish it had better service, it is fine most of the time.
all I use it for is to making calls (4 stars), Text (4 stars), alarm, calculator and calendar (2 stars), nothing amazing.

I took some pictures with this phone it looks fuzzy on the, but how am I going to get them out? I want to see them on my computer.
I wish it came with the option for a memory card or a way to extract my photos without having to e-mail them out :(
I had that 2 megapixel “AT&T Samsung Magnet cell phone”, that phone weighed like a brick compared to this A117 phone, but at least it had a memory card slot.
That phone last three month before it died and I could even get it to turn on, this A117 works just like when I bought it 3 month ago.

It looks good, and it is pretty light weight. I have bad luck with technology; my cameras, laptops, phone(s) you name it always breaks.
This little phone has gone through hell and it survived. The back cover comes off too easily, so don’t drop it (I don’t do it on purpose).
