I see many friends get the smartphones from AT&T wirless, however, when they want to unlock their devices, they usually go to ebay or amazon to buy the unlock. In fact, I AT&T is provided the unlock code for free o , but users have to make a call  or contact  AT&T customer service online.

You can say your  friend bought the AT&T smartphone with no contact(such as the Samsung Focus Flash 4G ) at Amazon wireless., and then you take the phone back to China or other contries, but you find  the network is  locked, and need to enter the unlock code. HTC has released the update 3.20.502.52 for AT&T HTC Inspire 4G for nearly a month, most of the users have gotten the  new ROM update and enjoy its perfect experience. Unfortunately, a small number of users said they have received the update notification, but when they are trying to download the update via the Wifi and the mobile network  , however they  get a “Server Unavailable” error.

As this update issue, now there are two methods to fix it. One way is to manually download and install the update 3.20.502.52 from HTC site via HTC Sync by connecting with a PC, learn  the instructions from the link below.

The other method is to try t o call HTC support, then HTC support will give your that code and it installed the update.  The number of HTC support is  866-449-8358.  I have gotten the code from htc support, and then I  Dial *#*#682#*#* in our phone. The update starts automatically.

We have heard that Nokia will launched 2 new Window Phone 8 smartphones on Nokia release conference hold on September 5 for more than a month, unfortunately, we don’t know what’s the name of the two devices untill so far. Update September 25th: It’s official, Samsung has been delivering the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S 3 starting yesterday(Just on September 24th). But Currently the update just arrived in Poland, and it is also expected to be pushed out in other European countries in the near future. the specfic release date the updates will vary depending on your location and wireless carrier.

The update version is android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, it was sent out via both OTA and Samsung Kies. In addition, the new version will also bring brand-new user experience and function, such as longer battery life.

So far, the Android 4.1 upgrade for Samsung galaxy S 3 has  started in US, so we also hope to see the Jelly Bean update push in the near future for Galaxy S III  , though there is no sign.
