Great news for Sony Xperia Ion users, yesterday(just on September 26th) AT&T officially released the android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Xperia Ion. In addtion to the ICS OS, after getting the update, users are able to lock and/or unlock specific features, like the camera, text messaging, phone dialer and home screen. Especially, the update boosts the Speeds of Wifi and mobile hotspot on att Xperia Ion update, also the update also brings some new features for us.

The update was not pushed out via OTA, it was available on Sony’s support site. Therefore, AT&T Sony Xperia Ion users have to manually download the update by connecting with a PC or a Mac. It seems that Sony started to seize the US market, Sony has officially released the unlocked Xperia Acro S in US starting September 25th,  the handset is a GSM version of android smartphone,  priced at $599.99 with no contract. The device works on the Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, it has a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, a 4.3 inch high-definition display and as well as 12.1 MP camera. Especially, it is said the Unlocked Sony Xperia Acro S supports AT&T 3G network.

Yesterday Samsung  started to release the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for the European Galaxy S3 users, and the update had arrived in Poland on September 24th, user can download and install the update via both OTA and Samsung Kies. However, as for when the Jelly Bean will come to US version of galaxy S3, Samsung didn’t mention. But Samsung stated that the galaxy s3 android 4.1 update will be gradually rolled out for other Countries and regions later this month, the final schedule depends on the requirements of the market and wireless operators.

In addtion, Samsung also reveal the general plan of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its android devices. In addtion to  the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S have received the Android 4.1 upgrade, Samsung also said a series of other android devices will also get the Jelly Bean system soon, but there was no a specific release date.The Samsung android devices including: Galaxy S II, Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Note smartphones, along with Galaxy Tab 27 / 10.1 plate, as well as Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7 Plus tablet PC.

Today it was reported by Phonearnea that some iphone 5 users said their devices suffer the light leakage issue. Oh, my god, I can’t believe it’s true, as such a perfect device, it comes with such a common problem. However, it seems that this is trure, because it has been confirmed by a number of sources. Fortunately, this is not a terrible problem, and it is not completely sure currently whether this is a widespread issue by Apple. It looks like the issue just appeared on some white version of iphone5, and it  Looks more obvious In the night.
