Official: Android 4.0  ICS update coming soon to AT&T Galaxy Note on July 10

Early in April, we had heared that the AT&T Galaxy Note will get the Android 4.0聽 ICS update, later we were told that the ICS update was delay to be released in Q2. After so long time’s wait, today聽 Samsung finally announced they are going to release the ICS update to the galaxy note in waves starting聽 July 10, just tomorrow.聽 Although many users fell disappointing with their devices are not able to be upgrade to the Android 4.1 JB updatelike the Samsung galaxy nexus(it will official get the android 4.1 JB update staring July 10), overall the ICS update is worthy of getting, it adds a lot of interesting and useful features , but Samsung has not changed the Galaxy Note TouchWiz interface , so that the overall feeling appears to lack a bit stuffy , but the update make the聽 S Pen get more support , and integrated with the exclusive Premium Suite tools . including the S Note, S Memo, and a new My Story application.

Update on July 13: Now the Android 4.0聽 ICS update has been available for download for AT&T samsung Galaxy note on July 10. Especially, according to the latest news from聽 sammobile, the android 4.0.4 ICS was also delivering to the international Galaxy Note starting July 11, and the update now can be download聽 via Kies and as an OTA.

In addition to fixing a number of bugs and issues the 4.0.4 version adds a few cool new features such as signature unlock and Pop up play. There are also several changes to the UI and icons and a reported performance bump.

Currently the update is available in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Other regions should join this list in the following days as well.

In case you don鈥檛 want to wait, you can get the official image from here and flash it via Odin. Just make sure to check if your device isn’t affected by the eMMC bug if you decide to go that way.
