How to unlock AT&T Quickfire And get unlock codes

Here is the Methods of how to Unlock AT&T Quickfire (which i find the method on the Internet):AT&T Cell phone FAQs Do as following way you’ll make your quickfire phone unlocked.

Step1:Get your quickfire鈥檚 IMEI code.

This is a unique identifier of your phone, like a serial number. You can access this code from your phone:

1) Turn your phone on.

2) Click on the 鈥淧hone鈥 icon.

3) Enter the following symbols: *#06#

4) After entering the final # symbol, a message will appear displaying your IMEI number. It is a 15-digit number in the format XXXXXX.XX.XXXXXX.X

Step2:Get the unlock code.

This can be purchased on the internet, or you may call your cellular provider. Either way, they will ask for the IMEI code which you determined in step one of this tutorial. Move on to step 3 when you have received your unlock code.

Step3:Follow these instructions exactly to unlock your phone:
1) Make sure your SIM card is NOT inserted into the device.
2) Turn on the phone and click the 鈥淢anage Connections鈥 icon. Choose the option 鈥淭urn off all connections.鈥 The cellular radio will be turned off.
3) Go back to the Home screen and click the 鈥淥ptions鈥 icon and select 鈥淎dvanced Options.鈥
4) Scroll down and select 鈥淪IM Card鈥 from the list.
5) Press the following keys in order: (M) (E) (P) (E)
6) A prompt will appear asking for the unlock code. Input the 16-digit code exactly.
7) Reboot your device.
8) Re-enable the cellular radio

    This does not work. This is to unlock the Blackberry. There is no Manage Connections key on the Quickfire. There are only 4 icons on the main screen of the Quickfire. The phone keyboard icon, The call icon, the music icon, and the contacts icon. I have looked through the manual of the Quickfire and there is no manage connections key on the phone. Can someone please find the correct way to unlock this phone and post it soon?

    it’s so that you can use the phone with any carrier. most people will want to this for international traveling. If you use your phone with at&t’s service in other countries you will pay dearly. do this and get service from a local service provider when you are in the other country and your bill will be more reasonable

    okay, so i get it! but do you buy the phone first with the plan like att then do all that unlocking, then go to what ever thing (i think there called plans) you had before that. cause i have t-mobile and really want this phone called Quickfire but its only sold with att.

    hi, i have a blackberry bold bought brand new in a Panama Megastore (Panafoto).
    It has AT&T logo on it, now i am in my own country, Uruguay, and my carrier, ANCEL, is telling me to ask either Blackberry or AT&T to send me the unlock code to allow them give me the full Blackberry service, can you help me? or guide me where to send my IMEI code and PASSWORD to request the unlock code (or does anybody have any unlock code?) hope you can help me, thanks in advance Luis

    i do not know where to find the code from… i was told at the tmobile store that i can get it for free…nd everywhere i go it keeps saying i gotta pay.. i need my phone to unlock because right now i am without a phone.. where do i get the unlock code ???

    Well…i unlocked my Quickfire to work with my T-Mobile sim card but the browser for the internet does not work. i pay alot for my plan for Tmobile which is unlimited internet use. I had the Sidekick 2008. This makes me ill because it only calls and send text. Is there a setting in the phone i need to change to make it work or am i screwed?

    i have quickfire gtx75 cellphone, i bought it online unlocked… im using my t-mobile and other sim and it will work fine for calls and txt messaging… but on the other menus like internet browser and YM doesnt work, what can i do for it please HELP…thanks

    The method is useful, but the key problem is the unlock code for AT&T銆锛憋綍锝夛絻锝嬶絾锝夛綊锝咃紝銆锛★即锛嗭即銆锝勶綇锝庯紘锝斻give you the unlock code, but now it is different. Starting June , AT&T will offer the unlock code for most of its cell phones nearly without out any requiremtns.

    France, that *#865625# takes u to the enter unlock code screen> but no one seems top have the rite code. there are 3 quickfires. HTC, PDC, and Starcom. and they have different codes. i have the code for the quickfire that has the sku# 64942 model GTX75G.this is on the back of your phone under battery. if u need it is totally FREE.
