Thanks for posting instructions for unlocking the BlackBerry Bold 9000. I received instructions from AT&T, but the first step in the AT&T instructions is the exact opposite of your first step. AT&T says “Insert AT&T SIM Card.” The process didn’t work, so I burned the first of my five permitted attempts. I immediately suspected an error in the instructions and searched the Web for instructions and found yours. Your first step: “Make sure your SIM card is NOT inserted into the device.” That worked. Thanks again.
