I have had no problem transfering pictures into my Xenon from my computer and also from my Xenon back into my computer using the bluetooth in the phone and a bluetooth dongle (Kensington bluetooth USB adabpter) on my computer.

My computer is running WIndows XP. I have been using the same bluetooth dongle (Kensington bluetooth USB adabpter) for a few years on my old my Motorola phone as well.

I use it to transfer ringtones and pictures to and from all of my bluetooth phones including my new LG Xenon.

I have not tried a USB cable yet. Since the bluetooth works I don’t see the need for the cable.

I followed the USB cable instructions for photo transfer shown above however when I go to look at the removeable device using explorer it tells me “insert a disk into F:” Could it be this process will not work to transfer photos from the phone memory unless one also has a memory card on the phone? I also tried downloading the USB driver mentioned in another website but that didn’t change anything however I don’t know if it really tried to use that driver.

I have always been an att guy, and I am not a computer idiot.

The difficulty I am continuing to have to do something as simple as upload pics to a pc from a cell phone is causing me to think seriously about leaving ATT.

I feel I was given a phone, and lied to about it’s functionality.

This works but only for files stored on the Micro SD card. I had pictures taken with the phone’s camera stored in the phones internal memory. I was hoping my computer would read that memory like a flash drive as implied in the manual. That is not the case. I found I had to insert a MSD chip into the phone and move the pics to the card. The move command was not easy to find and not described in the manual. You will find it only after you insert a MSD chip. Once done (with the USB mass storage activated) go into the show pictures menu and viola, there is a move command you can use. Once moved to the MSD card and the USB mass storage setting activated you will be able to read the files and copy them to your PC.

I do not have a micro SD card, all my pictures are stored in the internal memory. I have a USB connector and installed the LG PC Suite II that came with it and I still cannot access internal memory, but my computer can see a removable disk for the micro SD card. LG PC Suite does not say any phone is connected despite my computer being able to see a removable disk for the SD card. How do I get my pictures off my phone?
