How to solve the signal problem with GSM Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.0.4

Not each system update can bring better features, recently it is said by users of GSM聽 version of the Galaxy Nexus who have upgraded their hanset to Android 4.0.4 OS that thare is a signal serious problem turning up, that’s when the Galaxy Nexus is set into standby model, it will loss signal.
The poor signal led to the GSM version of the Galaxy Nexus users can not receive text messages and call, and onwers can not use the automatic data synchronization capabilities, they have to rely on to try to avoid the phone into standby to solve聽 temporarily聽 this issue.
Google admit the existence of the problem and sugget users to submit a bug report to help them isolate the problems and repair it. The Galaxy Nexus would run on the Verizon CDMA network, but it appears that the Sprint galaxy nexus did not encounter any signal problems after getting 4.0.4 upgrade.
