How to put a signature at the end of your text messages with the AT&T pantech matrix
My question is I have the AT&T Pantech Matrix and I want to be able to put a signature at the end of my text messages. So that whenever I send
a text some random thing that I chose will be at the end of the text without me having to type it every time I send a text. (sorry if it’s confusing
that’s the best I could do to explain it) Also, if there isn’t a way to do it please tell me.

i have the pantech matrix and the phone doesnt have a certain signature link i dont think. but when i want to use a signature…i have to use the templates things….(if that makes since) go to menu->go to messages-> go to ur templates(or #10)-> hit options and select add new-> u’ll get a blank message page, so insert what u want ur signature to be..-> when ur done go to options hit save. -> to make sure it works go to make a new message, hit options and go down to add template, click text and ur signature should be listed. (: so sorry if that is confusing lol but i hope u understood

You can’t set a signature on your samsung propel phone, as it doesn’t supports the feature at all.
but you are able to unlock the pantech matrix phone, however it may cost you some money to do so. since the phone is a GSM phone, you will only be able to use it with a network that uses SIM cards. Such as AT&T and TMobile. This phone will not work with other systems that are “CDMA” such as Sprint or Verizon.

that pisses me off. i wish we couldd. my sister has the lg vu and on that cell phone your allowed to have a signaturee. if you were allowed to, it would be in settings under messaging. if it doesnt appear than you dont havee onee.

I have the phone and i like it but i think that its messed up that u can’t get a signature i searched through the user guide and didnt fine it SRY!! So you CAN NOT get a signature.

OMG!!! WTF i used the template thingy and its wayyy better than anything else cause i got the pantech and its a bitch but ya its really good if u understand it ,once u got the first thing its all down hill from there !!:)

yeah. i have the pantech matrix too. and im trying to figure out how to get a signature on my phone. i really dont think theres an automatic way to put a signature. but heres a simple way to add a signature
go to menu>messaging>templates>options>add new
then you press enter. type ur signature. and save.
then, go to type ur message. and press options and click add template. and it will have ur signature. =] at&t does need to get an automatic signature thing on their phones.
you can also just try typing it every time you send a message. but if ur like me and doesnt take ur fingers off ur fone, then that might not be the best idea.

wow, ive had my Pantech Matrix for about 4 months now and ive been through the uage book several times, went through every little thing in the phone, and asked around. But after all this i still cant seem to find how to put a signature on my outgoing texts. yeah, you can put them on templates but, who likes going through that every message? i wonder, has anyone taken their matrix to theyre at&t provider and asked? i might go and do that today but i think it could just be a waste of time unless they can program it differently.
i have a pantech matrix to .. no u kannot put a signature on them or any other att phones. but i wannted to knoe are there different colors that yuh kan buy it in if so im buying a diffrent color… me no like lime green.

I officially hate at&t. If my house was in a place where we could get verizon reception. every phone i’ve had doesn’t allow the signature application. it’s sooo annoying! that’s not the only thing that annoys me about them, tho…….
I hate At&t everyone i know has Verison but ma contract isnt up yet and then they slap you with a stupid fee of like 200 dollars. And then im the only one who doesn’t have a signature. Its so old now. And I got this stupid PantechMatrixin Decmber because i doped my older phone in the sink and it always turns on and off. And then my house phone,iternet, and tv. It’s piontless and ma moms happy because she can. i think.it has no signature but there is a template link that is confusing to do and slow things down if your in a rush.if you have any more questions about atts pantech matrix,feel free to email me the question and i will be happy to respond.

On my LG Xenon i have the feature where I can have a certain signature ;). i really like this phone I have now. I think that the battery life is great and so are the graphics

but i use the *Text Templates* which is still corny but it beats nothinq i quess!!
ok if anyone, i mean ANYONE finds out how, tell me because it gets on my nerves, i have had the phone since Dec. 24 2008 and i cant figure it out, i have friends, and some (oddly strange) people out there judge people by how good their phone is and other stuff like that, i live around a lot of people like that and when they see that i don’t have signiture, they look down upon me and i lose my friends, so if there is any way that AT&T could figure out how to send an update through messages to allow signitures, then i would REALLY apriciate that, and so would EVERYONE ELSE who has the matrix.
i love my pantech matrix all but the fact i cant set a signature=P any help? cuz i serisously dont want to go through setting a templet EVREY time i send a text.

Yeah im 14 I read through the whole user manual and looked all over the internet… The only thing you can do is use templates….But you gotta click on that template everytime you send a message, it wont work if replying to a message
wait a second now. theres an option in the settings section which is a software update. so couldn’t at&t make it so you can have signitures and do the software update?
