A:The method of Locking聽 ATT samsung eternity:
1)From the standby screen, tap Menu.
2)Tap聽Settings.
3)Tap聽Phone.
4)Tap Security.
5)Under Lock Phone, tap On.
6)Enter the phone’s password, then tap Confirm.
NOTE: The password is user-defined; there is no default. If a password has yet to be established, the phone will prompt for a new password to be entered and then confirmed.
7)A confirmation message will be displayed.NOTE: The phone will ask for the password the next time the phone is powered on.The method of unLocking聽 ATT samsung eternity:
1). If you have locked your samsung eternity ,the device will request the phone lock code.
NOTE: The phone lock code is the user-defined password from the above solution; there is no default.
2). Enter the current phone lock code, then tap Confirm.
Activate/Deactivate SIM Lock
1. From the standby screen, tap Menu.
2.Tap Settings.
3.Tap Phone.
4.Tap Security.
5.Under Check PIN Code, tap On.
6.Enter the current PIN code, then tap Confirm.
NOTE: The default PIN is 1111.
7. A confirmation message will be displayed.
NOTE: The phone will ask for the PIN the next time the phone is powered on.
Note:
IMPORTANT: If the incorrect PIN is entered more than 3 times the phone will display 鈥淓NTER PUK鈥. If this message is displayed, contact Customer Care.
* AT&T cannot provide active passwords.
* The device password and the SIM lock code (PIN) are not the same. The password is resident to the device and does not affect the SIM card.

My phone was almost phone freeze!!!!!!!!
I just waste my time!
my phone is already phone freeze….i dont even know wat to do!
I just waste my money for buying this phone if it will not work again!

Here is what I got from AT&T call center for Samsung Eternity. If you have the unlock code and you want to unclock it you need to do the following:
1. Turn off the phone and remove the sim
2. Turn it back on
3. Enter: #7465625*638*(8-digit unlock code)# (you will not see the number after the first start but continue entering the characters)
4. You will see a msg saying the lock has been deactivated
need help to unlock the samsung eternity
Advice-Do not follow this direction. It’s a shit of piece.
Phone freeze will be the result.
