How to lock AT&T samsung propel’s screen
One of my friends just bought a AT&T samsung propel phone recently,bu tshe doesn’t know how to lock screen for her propel phone.I want to say with her is If you have read the AT&T samsung propel user manual[Download],the problem is simple.
Lock AT&T samsung propel’s screen Steps:
1:Open the “Menu”of your samsung propel phone
2.Find the “Change youe setting”option,then open it.
3.Find the “Phone”option,and open it.Then find the” security”
4.Open the ” security”,then you’ll find the “lock phone”option,make this option enable.And you’ll lock your AT&T samsung propel..

okayy i know how to lock it but it asks for the password and ive never made a password for it
you must have forgotten it

The methos is hardly the same as lock your phones’ screen:
1. From the standby screen, press the right soft key for Menu
2. Select Settings (9)
3. Select Phone (4)
4. Select Security (5)
5. Select Lock Phone (1)
6. Highlight the desired Phone Lock setting, using the navigation keys, from the folllowing:
* On- The phone locks immediately and stays locked until you enter the correct lock code
* Off- The phone remains unlocked
7. Press the left soft key for Select to save the Phone Lock setting
Is there a master reset code for the samsung propel ?
it seems that AT&T can’t find the reset code for the samsung propel
How do you turn OFF the annoying automatic keypad lock on the samsung propel?? Not everyone wants to have to unlock the keypad every time they want to use the phone–times out and locks the keypad after about 5-6 seconds…have to unlock it to do anything and 5-6 seconds later it’s locked again. There seems to be NO WAY to turn this insanity off, or if there is I cannot find it from reding the manual and looking at 30-35 search pages in Yahoo. I’m ready to take the #%$^&* thing back because of this problem. (YES, I know what it’s for but DON’T want to deal with having to unlock it every 5-6 seconds.)
Anyone have any info I haven’t been able to find yet??
