CyanogenMod won’t provide Root privileges in the future?

Recently CyanogenMod the most famous Android custom ROM development team   announced that when the android 4.0 devices based on the CM9 ROM is flashed, they will not get Root privileges  by default.

Of course, there is no root on CM9 by default , it doesn’t mean CM team will block the Root, replacedly, they just provide the Root option   in the setup menu : “Disable” by default disabled state, user can manually change it as “Enabled for the ADB only “or” Enabled for the APP only “or both.

As for the CM team’s explain for this change on the security problem , the said currently all the custom ROM almost be offered the Root permissions by default . CM team plans to make their ROM as the safest Android custom system with its own influence, but also take into account the high-end user experience
