AT&T’s smartphone purchasers need to sign up for data plan starting Sep 6th
Official: AT&T has confirmed that all its smartphone purchasers will nedd to sign up a smarphone date plans under a new agreement starting聽 on September 6th in a statement released today, and for for those customers with smartphones purchased prior to September 6th with non-smartphone data plans will be able to stay with their current plan and there is need to ungrade their current plans.
But you have to note that聽 if you currently use a feature phone with a data plan and you upgrade to a smartphone on or after September 6th, you will not be able to keep your current MediaNet plan. The data plan costs $30 per month and applies to iPhone, BlackBerries, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Palm devices.
