AT&T Samsung propel tricks-Turn off 3G

We know that the AT&T Samsung propel phone supports 3G,and you need spend $8 at least per month for the 3G.But if you don’t want to use it,you could turn off the 3G for Samsung propel.Some users may not know how to turn off 3G on propel phone,following we’ll tell you the trick.

How to set the AT&T Samsung propel 3G be turned off:

1. type in: *#6984125*#
2. go to the third one called network and call settings
3. select network mode
4. select one of the gsm bands, (suggest using gsm 850/900/1800/1900)
that should force your phone into using the 2g network

  • What if step #3 (select network mode) can’t be done? when i get to that point, that menu option is dimmed out and can’t be selected. Have you ever seen that?
