AT&T Samsung Propel-Set MP3 Files As Ringtones
I’m puzzled, there are many AT&T Samsung a767 Propel users don’t know how to set mp3 files聽as a contact ringtone, alarm tone or as the incoming call ringtoneon their samsung prople phone. Actually, the progress is easy, just follow the steps below:
Notes:Audio files less than 300 KB are treated as ringtones, whereas audio files which are greater than 300 KB are considered as Music. You cannot set an MP3 file as a ringtone if it is larger than 300 KB.
- If the Phone Tab, highlight the Audio folder, using the navigation keys
- Press the
key to view the contents
key to view the contents- Call Ringtone (1)
- Highlight the desired sound Profile, using the navigation keys
- Press the left soft key to Save the MP3 file as the Call Ringtone for that Profile
- Caller Ringtone聽(2)
- Select Contact List (1)
- Highlight the desired Contact, using the navigation keys
- Press the left soft key for Select to assign the MP3 file as the Caller Ringtone
- Alarm Tone (3)
- Highlight the desired Alarm, using the navigation keys
- Press the left soft key for Options
- Choose Select (1) to assign the MP3 file as the Alarm Tone
- Press the left soft key to Save the Alarm setting

I have just bought a new Samsung Propel a766… On the screen i have edited my background, but it still says “AT&T” and I would love to be able to write my own saying for it… It is going to drive me insane!!! I have read the whole owners manual and still can not find anything… Also I would like to add my own signature to my text message, but I can not find the option to edit this… If you have any suggestions or know ANYTHING please be kind and email me with your information… Thanks so much…. No, you cant. As the samsung propel doesn’t support this function at all. Don’t waste your time
