How to set world Time for my AT&T Samsung Magnet,聽 such as changing location of time, disable world time and Enable Or Disable Daylight Savings Time? If you have these questions, then don’t worry again, now we’ll solove them for you one by one. AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers

1. Enable World Time feature follow the steps below: AT&T Samsung Magnet info

  1. While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Menu
  2. Select My Stuff (7)
  3. Select Tools (5)
  4. Select World Time (12)
  5. Set the visiting time zone, using the navigation keys
  6. Press the left soft key for Set DST, if applicable
  7. Press the right soft key for Back to save the World Time & DST settings

Note: Changes may not take effect until the handset is power cycled (turned off then turned on again)

2. Enable Or Disable Daylight Savings Time On My SGH-A257 (Magnet) Phone?

To enable or disable the daylight savings time (DST) feature follow the steps below:

  1. While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Time & Date (3)
  4. Highlight Time Zone Updating, using the navigation keys
  5. Select Manual Only, using the left or right navigation keys
  6. Highlight Time Zone, using the navigation keys
  7. Press the OK key for Change then select the local Time Zone setting, using the left or right navigation keys
  8. Press the down navigation key for Daylight Saving, using the navigation keys
  9. Press the OK key to Check or Uncheck the Set Daylight Saving box
  10. Press the left soft key to Save the Time Zone setting
  11. Press the left soft key again to Save the Time & Date setting

3. Disable world time: find the tanswer in聽 second question’s answer聽

    okay. so i just got my samsung magnet today.
    and i noticed when i got text messages it saved in the SIM card thingy.
    not to the phone.
    and the phone holds 200 msgs. and the SIM card only holds 30.
    so how can i make the msgs save to the phone?
    because i text an awful lot,, and i dont want to delete my msgs every 5 minutes. lol
    if someone could help that would be amazing.

    I just got my magnet about two days ago and I am having the same problem. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it. I hoping they will just put out at software update at some point.

    i downloaded these cool messagetones an cant figure out how to set them as MESSAGE tones.
