Good tricks for you if you are the samsung Jack users for AT&T, which is聽 if you turn of the 3G on the jack phone, you could lenthen the battery life for your phone, just follow the steps below:
1. Enter *#1546792*#
2. Select Option 3 Netowrk & Call Settings
3. Select option 5 Network Mode
4. Select GSM and click done
5. Well, the 3G is now off and the battery wont die down quickly.

i did this allready but how do i turn it on??? the same way???
