Um ya, link to download impression user guide does not work. Goes to a page with writing in another language. Frustrating I just need to download the user guide. Doesn’t need to be this difficult.

I couldn’t download the English version either -it comes up in Korean. I can’t believe a manual doesn’t come with the phone! Very frustrating.

I can’t believe AT&T is so cheap – I wasn’t about to download 205 pages – a manual should have come with the phone. I returned mine to the dealer and cancelled the contract.

Wow. You don’t need a manuel to have this phone. It’s not that hard to work; just adventure around on it for a little bit! You don’t need to be taking it back! wtf why would you do that? It’s an awsome phone! Damn you people are lazy.

I just bought this phone and would like to know if there is a way to be on the phone, put it on speaker and then open the calendar so I can put in appointments while talking to a client. Hey ! I love this phone but I can’t figure out how to put it on silent when recieving messages
Hey, i need help please… I recently recieved my new phone in the mail and it worked for a week. Well, today i was texting on it, then all of a sudden it turned itself off and restarted by itself. Next thing i know, 3 hours later i STILL cant get into my phone because it jus keeps restarting over n over again!! I took out the battery several times and even let it sit for hours. Still cant get into it. Can anyone help please? Thanks!

Just got samsung impressions last night i prefer a printed manual but i just started playing with it and start to learn all the bell and whistle on my own believe me if i can figure it out you can to.

For some reason, perhaps my fault, many of the recent calls (about 30) I have received are on the “reject” list. The only calls that I can get a ring tone are the ones that have not called recently. This means that there is no ring tone for previous caller, and therefore they must leave a voicemail msg. I have tried to download the users manual with no success. Pls tell me the secrete to downloading the manual or respond to this msg asap and tell me how to correct the problem.
I can’t send pictures…..every time I try I get an error message that says “sending failed incorrect server response”…….please help with this problem
also is there a way to show all of your text messages on the same message….some time people don’t reply right of way and i forget what I sent them…..hate that you can see all of the messages…
Do you make sure that th Configure Multimedia Messaging (MMS) Settings is right on your Samsung Impression?
If not, now go to Configure it again follow the steps below锛
1. From the standby screen, tap Menu.
2. Tap Messaging.
3. Tap Messaging Settings.
4. Tap Multimedia Message.
5. Tap MMS Profiles.
6. Scroll to and select AT&T MMS
7. Scroll through and verify the following information, then tap Ok.
* Set Name: AT&T MMS
* Access Name: wap.cingular
* Auth Type: None
* User ID:
* Password:
* Protocol: HTTP
* Home URL: http://mmsc.cingular.com
* Proxy Address: wireless.cingular.com:80
* Linger Time (sec.): 300
As for showing all of your text messages on the same message, I think it’s not possible.
i just bought 2 impression phones, one for me and one for my son and i think they are pretty cool. a paper manual would be nice only because everyone does not have a computer at home to play the cd (whether it works or not). we pretty much figured out how the whole phone works but what i would like to know is can you have certain ring tones for certain contacts when receiving a call? if so, how do u do that, and i am having a hard time accessing the actual internet page, it brings me to a yahoo search page instead of the box to type in your web address. anyone know how to do that?

Well I let my kids talk me into AT&T again. I swore when the contract was up-never again. Well here we go again with 3 new phones. Only problem is I am very limited in the things I can do until either my daughter comes home from college, or my son comes for a visit. Both are out of state. I agree there should be a pocket size instruction manual. I loved carrying mine and discovering new things to do with my phone (lunch time reading at work). How cheap can you be? CD didn’t load in my Apple computer either. One more thing, with all the cash output we pay for phones, wireless service, downloading the instructions etc., don’t you have anybody proof reading YOUR comments? For example #53 I believe you meant manual not manula! And isn’t it “cop” one, not cope one? Not usually this mean, I’m angry about the MANUAL. Even though my kids bought me the phone I should have returned it just for the principle . Loved my old phone a lot.

Is there a way I can download text messages and save them using the USB cord that came with the phone? I looked through the manual and didn’t see any instructions for that…..thanks.

Have a Samsung Impression and the touch screen has stopped working. Is there a way to reset the phone when the menu can’t be accessed? Couldn’t find anything in the manual.

How do you email photos?
Somehow the text on the messages got changed to a smaller size. Very difficult to read. How do you change the size back to the original size? I downloaded the manual but was not able to locate anything there that would help. Thank you!

I don’t know if this is possible, but the saleswoman at the store said I could organize my text messages by “conversations” instead of just the general bin that “inbox” is so I could see what I sent to someone and what they sent back as a reply in one long list without the interference of other text messages. How do I do this? I like the phone a lot, but not being able to organize texts this way is getting really annoying, and I’m starting to miss my sony erickson.

I know its the thing to have the user manual online. I get it. But, if I’m in my car and need to follow through with an application it would be SO MUCH EASIER to look it up in the litle manual you would have issued with the phone, not go in my ouse and look it up on my PC. Frustrating!!!
