Questioin 1) microSD cards - Do I need to get a specific type?聽 Or will any microSD card work?
Answer : Any standard microSD card should work. I believe AT&T limits the phone to an 8GB micoSD card; although the Samsung web-site says it can handle up to 16GB. AT&T Samsung Impression info
Questioin 2) Loudspeaker - Can you turn it on when someone calls you?聽 I can’t seem to use that function.聽 I can turn the loudspeaker on when I’m calling someone but not when someone is calling me. AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers
Answer: Yes, you can turn the speakerphone on to receive a call. When answer a call, simply slide the speakerphone bar into the On position. Or, when dialing click the second square on the touchscreen to active speakerphone.
Questioin 3) Event Widget - Can you get rid of the Event Widget?聽 I don’t see where anything is named “Event Widget” where I can edit what comes up. What do I have to chose to remove that? Or is it stuck there?
Answer: The event widget: just open the Widget bar on the side and drag & drop the event widget back onto it to remove it from your screen. To edit the events on it you just have to add events to your calender (I think).
Questioin 4) On the keypad, what does the space bar key with the phone icon do?聽 It doesn’t seem to do anything for me.
Answer: If you hold down the “Space” key it will activate “Silent” mode if you are in “Normal” or vice-versa.
Questioin 5) Games & Apps - Besides the official AT&T store, where else can I get games and apps?聽 What type of file do I need to make sure to get?
Answer: It uses java based games. Since the phone is still relatively new, you may have to wait before games like this are availabe.
Questioin 6) Text Messaging Folders -Can I create my own folders to organize myself better?聽 Or am I stuck with only what is premade?
Answer: I don’t think you can create your own folders.

how much does it couse
My samsung impression keeps going blank when I slide it is that a factory recall because I don’t see it on any trouble shooting or tips for recovering this problem on any websites????????????
My samsung impression keeps going blank whenever I try to slide it, I bought this phone from the at&t store in West Memphis, Arkansas, and it is not responding once the screen goes black/blank. *Frustrating. Any opinions would be helpful???????????????????
How do i turn my phone silent i went to settings and select silent but when someone calls or text it still vibrates very loud and i how also turned the volume and vibration level to zero but it still vibrates pretty loud…PLEASE help is getting pretty frustrating!

Handset sounds, such as audible message alerts and ringtones are all profile dependent. Profiles contain all the information associated with the volume settings and levels of the handset. This includes ringers, alarms, notifications, and system sounds. The profile message alert type & tone allows you to choose the alert type that sounds when receiving a new text messages, Multimedia messages, and Email. There are four different preloaded audio profiles that have the ability to be edited.
To edit the Silent profile follow the steps below:
1. From the standby screen, press on Menu
2. Press on Settings
3. Press on Sound Profile
4. Press on the Silent profile from the following:
* Normal
* Silent
* Driving
* Outdoor
5. From the Message screen (Use the drop down arrow):
* Press on Message Alert Type (Vibration)
o Press on the desired Message Alert Type from the following:
+ Vibration
+ Mute
o Press on Save to keep the Message Alert Type setting
* Press on the Message Alert Repetition drop down arrow
o Press on either Once or Periodic
* Press on Vibration Pattern (Vibration 1)
o Press on the desired Vibration Pattern
o Press on Save to keep the Vibration Pattern setting
* Set the Vibration Intensity setting
6. Press on Save to keep the Silent Sound Profile settings
I was having the silent mode problem also, but in the drop down arrow on my phone, there is no message widget. I went to look but there isn’t one on the list to add it either! Help!
My phone shows that I always have 8 missed calls. It used to be 6. I have deleted all calls from made, missed, recieved and if I miss 1 call it shows 8 missed. Why?
