I can’t even figure out how to change my message alert tone.
1. From the standby screen, press Menu
2. Press My Stuff
3. Press Audio
4. Press either Tones or Music, to view the contents
5. Press the desired MP3 file to play it
6. Press Set as
7. Press one of the following:
* Call Ringtone: To set the MP3 as the current profile’s Ringtone
* Caller Ringtone
o Press Search Contact
o Press the desired Contact
o Press Save to assign the MP3 file as the Caller Ringtone
* Alarm Tone
o Press the desired Alarm
o Presson Save to assign the MP3 file as the Alarm Tone
If i accidently blocked a number, how do i unblock it?!?!?! im in desperate need of help lol!!!!

To delete entries from the Reject List follow the steps below:
1. From the standby screen, press Menu
2. Press Settings
3. Press Calls
4. Press General
5. Press Auto Reject
6. Press the trashcan to the right of the number to delete it
7. Press Save to keep the Auto Reject settings
when i try to download a ringtone( on the at&t website or thru my phone) i get an error messge — when i called 611 the associate said this phone can’t download ringtones – something about a space issue? sounds like bull to me — anyone have any ideas?

somehow my font size changed on my text messages. its only on my messages that came into my inbox. and it is only when i open them up to reply to them, the font is super small.. how do i fix that?

Hey Kelsi I found out how to change the message tone. firts go to the settings in main menu, from there touch the sound profile, and instead of touching the button on the right of normal just touch the normal word. from there you can change the tone of message to ringtones. hope this helps you.
is there a limit of only 6 contacts in the FAVORITES???? After adding the sixth friend, the ADD button is no longer available, only the REMOVE.

I just purchased the SAMSUNG Flight cellular phone yesterday at at&t I need an Interactive Tutorial in English designed for the Macintosh computer. The one supplied is for Windows and does me no good. I have no idea how to do anything except unlock the darn thing . Is there a cd available for Mac computer? There is no manual in hard copy I am totally lost. Please help

amber–to change the text tone for a certain person go to your contacts and edit that person click on “add more fields” and then slected the message tone button, then it will be added to the list and you have a choice of 4? text tones! there is a “special” which may allow you to put a recorded one-i just found it a second ago myself
For some reason when I receive text message it goes straight to the SIM card and not to the phone. This hasn’t happen before, it started out saving the text messages to the phone but now it’s been going to my SIM card. Then whenever the SIM card is full it tells me to delete the text messages. This gets really annoying that I have to keep deleting text after text when the messages are suppose to go to the phone. How do I fix this problem?

A friend of mine has this phone and he says when the phone is ringing and he goes to get the phone out of his pocket to see who it is, the touch screen is activated and either answers the call automatically or it drops the call. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening or why it happens. Typically the screen should show the name/number calling and allow you to “Accept” or “Reject” the call.
Does anyone know how to change the setting for text messages to see a whole conversation grouped together instead of individual messages?

I have a question about the pictures in the “lock screen” mode. I picked the picture I wanted as my wall paper and that works fine once I “activate the phone…but when it’s just in the lock screen mode it keeps rotating the default pictures that came with the phone. Can I put my own pictures in that rotation? Or am I stuck with those pictures…I really hate the “kids on the beach sillohette” pic and would like it to go away!

Can I use animated gifs in messages? My boyfriend sent me ones that came with his phone in a text message…but I don’t have any…I guess I have to download them?
Also, does anyone know how to reduce the KB size of a mp3 without shortening the actual length of the clip.
For example, I have one “song piece” that is 25 seconds long that is only 245kb and fits fine to work as a ring tone…yet I have a 12 second clip that is 434kb and is too big to use as a ring tone…what gives?

Victoria- To change ur ringer to silent w/o the vibration, go to Menu, then Settings, then to Sound Profile, then just tap on silent and ur phone should no longer vibrate.
I am wondering on how to put my Samsung Flight on Vibrate or Mute ONLY
I just got the Samsung Flight last week and already have had to swap it out for another one because it keeps turning itself off and then back on. It is a new phone and should not be doing this. I have had a new SIM card put into the phone but the phone is still continuing to turn itself off and then back on. Can anyone help shed light onto what is going on with my phone and how I can fix it, please. Thank you so much.
The last two days when I get a new text the notification box comes up and says I have 3 New Messages when I really only have one. Does anybody know how I might be able to fix this? I tried clearing my inbox and turning off my phone, but that didn’t work

I should edit my comment and say that it is set to both vibrate and ring at the same time and it still says that it is set that way. I reset my phone twice but no change. vibration is set to 4 when I check the level. no variation on vibrate matters–none of them work.

I was trying to answer a call while in the internet, and hit something while ending the internet and alternated my internet browser screen..And don’t know how to return it to the previous state, where I don’t have to turn phone side ways…And I as of yet have had no issues..till my own mistake I love this phone…
Amanda you have to get the img you like, and save to pictures file, and hit set as choose wall paper or caller ID..for yours hit wall paper, and then set again, it should now be the omg you choose…not the Samsung imgs…

I just received a samsung flight and the calendar date is showing it is the 5th today and it obviously is the 12th. Does anyone know how to update the calendar – I will not be able to use the calendar if I don’t figure this out! Thanks so much!
@Donna, your calender is right. Looking at the date in the post, the date you said, and the post date under your name, they both say the fifth of April. The day that I am posting this is the 7th of April.

oh…… the pretty screen i made got disrupted. It was supposed to be the bar with arrows and 123 and ok and etc… at the bottom of the screen during a java game.
i have had the at&t flight since christmas of 2009 and i was wondering how you take the shortcut bar off on the front screen
It’s not possible to take the shortcut bar off on the front screen, and there is no need
AT&T Cell Phones, is there a way to get rid of that button bar during java games?

I have a question about the pictures in the 鈥渓ock screen鈥 mode. I picked the picture I wanted as my wall paper and that works fine once I 鈥渁ctivate the phone鈥ut when it鈥檚 just in the lock screen mode it keeps rotating the default pictures that came with the phone. Can I put my own pictures in that rotation? Or am I stuck with those pictures鈥 really hate the 鈥渒ids on the beach sillohette鈥 pic and would like it to go away!

I’ve had the Samsung Flight for a while now and now it won’t turn on. 20 mins before this happened I checked it and it said it had full bars (battery). I’m tired of it doing this! Please tell me what to do. Also, no one can hear me on calls. Why is this?

I recently purchased a Samsung Flight and its working great other than the fact that it shows I have a missed call from the last person that called me everytime I receive a text message. Got the Samsung Flight, downloaded a bunch of games to my pc in java format, copied them to memcard (Don’t have a data cable), when I try to run them from the memcard (In the phone) I get “Unsupported file type”, Is there another way besides the data cable? I just got my new phone shipped to me , and when i tried to put it on it stayed as a black screen with a bar showing and it keeps switching back and forth. I thought it was charging but 24 hours later it still had the same thing and when i take the charger out it shuts off and wont go back on , even when i leave the charger in it still shuts off about 15 seconds later. Do you know what the problem is please respond.

i have a samsung impression. u have an option to block certain callers but how do u unblock them. i tried deleting them from my contacts but they are still blocked when they call. it shows up on my screen as caller rejected. does anyone know how to fix this
