AT&T Samsung A657 Tip- Tell the difference between a Push to Talk call and a regular cellular call
When using the AT&T Samsung A657 , you need to know the tricks to tell the difference between a Push to Talk call and a regular cellular call. While a regular call has a ringtone, a Push to Talk call has more of a chirping sound. To receive a PTT call:
鈥 Set status to Available.
鈥 When a call comes in, the caller information will be
displayed on the screen and the caller鈥檚 voice will be heard.
鈥 If the ringer is set to silent or vibrate, the screen will ask if
the user wants to accept or reject the call prior to hearing
the caller鈥檚 voice.
鈥 Press Accept to take the incoming call.
鈥 Pressing the Options Soft Key during the call enables the
user to do any of the following:
- Convert the call to cellular.
- Launch the PTT Contacts list.
- Place current PTT call on hold so another call can
be made.
- Place call on hold.
- Create and send a text or MMS message while on
the call.
- End the call.
Enjoy~
