AT&T quitely released the Android 4.0.4 update for HTC One X
Recently it was reported that AT&T version of HTC One X (XL) users received a update notification, which displays there was one Android 4.0.4 upgrade packbage about 270MB聽 now available for download. Although we check this聽 from AT&T official website and we did not find this upgrade log file, but聽 it said by users the upgrade will bring greatly enhance d performance for AT&T HTC One X.
After getting the upgrade, att htc One X runs the Android 4.0.4 OS, the system software number is changed to 2.20. In addtion, the updte will change the part application notes of part menus聽 , especially modified the discordant back button previously appeared on htc one x .In addition,聽 the update also provides the fully new operation and display way of聽 the menu , users said not only the multitasking ability was enhanced, and the system delay is also shortened.
Final, the upgrade will close the existing “developers dedicated root port”, so, if want to make your handset in being rooted,聽 this upgrade is not suitable for you, continue to wait for the new custom ROM.
