AT&T pantech matrix:How to have different ringtones for certain people

Many friends who have gotten the AT&T pantech matrix may have the proplem. That’s just about how to set personalized ringtones for each of your contacts.Actually, this is a simple problem, you need to do only several steps, then you can get just the effect you wanted.

Methods:
First, the contacts must be saved on the Phone and not the SIM.聽 From there, you simply edit the contact(s) and assign a ringtone.AT&T Cell phone FAQs.聽 Each contact that is stored in the Phone memory may be customized with individual ringtone and graphical caller ID, as well as storage of other contact information.聽 All options for contacts stored in the SIM memory are limited and no personalized caller ID may be set.

Notes: Be aware that both SIM and Phone contacts will be displayed as there is no way to filter out one or the other.

Probably helpful to mention that each ringtone selected (if you import a specific song for someone) needs to be 300 KB or less. I found that info on accident, the manual does not tell you this.

How do you set one of your ringtones as a call tone. So, when people call you they hear that ringtone.
