AT&T Pantech Matrix Reviews

The Pantech Matrix for AT&T is similar to the Duo, it is a dual slider that slides up for numeric keyboard and sideways for the QWERTY,Measuring 4.02 inches long by 1.97 inches wide by 0.78 inch thick, 2.0-inch display– 260,000 TFT colors. The AT&T Pantech Matrix also has a 1.3 megapixel camera, GPS and 3G. It can access AT&T鈥檚 messaging services, including video share. The Matrix is available in blue, red, and black with green trim and costs $80 after a contract and a rebate.

The good: The Pantech Matrix slides both ways to reveal both a number keypad and a QWERTY keyboard. It has a megapixel camera, HSDPA, A-GPS, and access to AT&T’s broadband services.

The badThe bad: The Pantech Matrix suffers from tiny navigation keys and a flat keypad. The handset is also on the bulky side.

The bottom lineThe bottom line: The Pantech Matrix is a pretty good dual-sliding multimedia handset, but we just weren’t pleased with the keypad design.

Does anyone know of a way to make personalized text message tones for people using the Matrix? Where else can I buy chargers for the phone without having to go through the ATT store. I don’t like the people in there and would rather not deal with them again. Also, does anyone know of a way to make text message folders locked, but not lock the entire phone?
