How to assign A Ringtone To A Contact on AT&T Nokia E71X phone? I guess some uers still don’t know how to do. Following i’ll introduce the method to you. AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers

Note: Audio files less than 300 KB are treated as ringtones, whereas audio files which are greater than 300 KB are considered Music. Therfore, you cannot set an audio file as a ringtone if it is larger than 300 KB.

To assign a Ringtone to an address book Contact follow the steps below:

1. Click the Contacts shortcut
2. Open the contact
3. Click options (the left shortcut key) and select “Ringing tone”

To assign a ringtone to a group:

1. Click the Contacts shortcut -AT&T Nokia E71X info
2. Click right on the d-pad to view Groups
3. Highlight (do not open) the group
4. Click options (the left shortcut key) and select “Ringing tone”

Note: Ringtones are only available for Contact entries stored in the handset’s memory, not on the SIM card
