AT&T Nokia E71x Trick – Re-Installing QuickOffice 4
Today I find some AT&T users say they meet the same problem on their Nokia E71x, which is when they聽 upgraded the free quick office v4 which views and edits microsoft office 2003 to new version 6, they say the can’t install it successfully as they haven’t buy it, so they want to back up to use the Qucikoffice 4, while they don’t know how to re-install it. If you have this issue, too, go here, I have figured out the method, now just do exactly as the steps below:
AT&T Nokia E71X info – AT&T Nokia E71x cell phone photos:
1. Get the QuickOffice 4 back by using Nokia PC Suite.
1. Connect your phone, open Nokia PC Suite and open Install Applications.
2. Nokia Application Installer opens and you will have two panes – left will be files on your computer & right shows applications installed on your E71x. AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers
3. Locate QuickOffice 6, select it and delete it (click on trash can icon on top of right pane).
4. QuickOffice 6 will deleted/uninstalled from E71x and QuickOffice 4 should be present.

Hi,
I tried it, it does bring Quickoffice 4.0 back to life, but files that I download, through the email application are not associated with the application. So .xls file is open with notepad as Gybrish instead of being open by the excel/spreadsheet app.
Please advise.
