AT&T Motorola Q9h software update Download
Recently motorola released a software update for for the AT&T Motorola Q9h. Before you decide to upgrade your AT&T Q9h, you need to know the update not including:
- No, it’s not Windows Mobile 6.5.
- No, it doesn’t appear to enable some secret WiFi capability.
- No, Windows Marketplace for Mobile is nowhere to be found.
Sadly, the latest software update only including:
- New sliding panel home screen for one-stop access to e-mails, texts, calendar events, and more
- Threaded SMS for chat-like texting AT&T Cell phone Software
- Typing made easier with Cut, Copy, and Paste support4.
- quick e-mailing with recipient Auto-Complete 鈥 type the contact鈥檚 name, choose from a drop down list, and聽 the device will fill in the contact address
- Device and security management with support for System Center Mobile Device Manager
- Radio version has gone from MODEM4_U_40.11.40R_04 to MODEM4_U_40.11.40R_07(Settings>About)
- under Settings>Phone information>APFlex, we’ve gone from NONORMANATTCORE00040 to NONORMANATTCORE00043. And in the same location, AP has gone from 01.09.28R to 01.09.28DR.

Notes: This is a ROM update, it means you’ll be wiping your phone clean. So if you’re not having any problems making calls and getting data,you can pass the update.

This software update improves:
- phone performance on the upgraded AT&T network.
- the phone鈥檚 ability to connect to the network in specific instances.
- other technical performance issues.
In addition, for Q9h users who are using Windows Mobile 6.0, the update will install Windows Mobile 6.1.
Can someone please help me!!!!! I am writing to you from Trinidad and I have only had my phone just about three weeks now and I can’t understand why it will not operate a very basic function as to access call waiting, it allows me to see the income call if I am on the line, it even gives me the option to choose whether i want to Answer or Ignore the call, but it is NOT allowing me to retrieve the other call. This is a BIG 鈥淣O 鈥揘O鈥, as in my line of work I can not afford to miss any calls, I have contacted my provider and I am and have always been set up for call waiting. So what is up with this? I have only had this phone for a short period and already i am DISSATISFIED with it. Not to mention putting on a ring tone is like doing brain surgery. (Which by the way I still have NOT been able to do)
How could companies be upgrading and the basic necessities that we require in a phone are not functional, I have also noticed that if i am dialing a particular number and the user is already on the line, it does not allow you to see if the person’s phone is in use, it just rings and goes to voice mail. What type of upgrades are these? These are the very basic and essential features that users require, but yet you replace them with stuff that probably won’t be used. What is up with this? When i got the phone i was so happy, but now i am really very disappointed. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. I am really SORRY MOTOROLA! I feel that you all have failed us!
