AT&T lg xenon tethers - Internet via Palm Tungsten T3

AT&T Lg Xenon info-We know that聽 the AT&T lg xenon comes with bluetooth, if we want to get email and access the web on the T3 using a BT connection to lg xenon phone , but it’s obvious there is no lg drivers on T3. Maybe there is someone can聽 Internet and email access through the Xenon alone , but聽 the screen on the T3 is *much* bigger. So there are some users would rather use that screen to do any kind of Internet access than the Xenon’s. In effect,聽 we聽 just want to ‘tether’ the T3 to the Xenon. Anyboday know? This might seem as though I am stating the obvious. But, it was not so obvious to me at first.

You do not need LG drivers on the Palm T3 device in order to establish a bluetooth “trusted pair” connection with the LG Xenon.

    To do this:
    - First, you to set up a WAP Using AT&T as the “ISP” for your LG Xenon.
    - Then, re-broadcasting local bluetooth connection(s).
    - After configuring the LG Xenon’s settings, you would connect the T3 as you might to any bluetooth trusted pair.

All so easily said. I will sit down with the Xenon manuals and see if I can write step-by-step instructions to do this. Someone more familiar with LG phones might beat me to it. (One could only hope.) I am familiar with the slightly older T2. But the approach should be the same. There is no real reason why your bluetooth networkability should be limited to the Palm Tungsten.

However, now that I am thinking of it; This could be a fun Java Applet for the Xenon. Imagine clicking an icon on your phone, and instantly any bluetooth enabled browsing device, (with the password and settings specified by you), could connect to the internet. You could be the hit of many campgrounds or beach parties. Think of it as one of those 3G personal shared connection devices we see advertised on TV lately. You might be ably to connect several: Laptop PCs, Palm devices like the Tungsten, or even Desktop PCs.

I will try step-by-step instructions. Then I might try to automate the process via script or Java Applet.
