AT&T LG Xenon Audio File set as ringtones Issue
Some AT&T LG Xenon users say they have some problem with using custom audie files as ring tones on their AT&T LG Xenon. Which is when聽 ssigning the audio files and ring tones, but some of them don’t work and some of them do. It’s not a matter of the contacts, those are fine, but some of the audio files won’t give them an option to assing them as ring tones. AT&T Lg Xenon info
As for this problem,聽 I want to tell you there is limit聽 on the ringtone, which is you have to make sure that they are less than 300 kb in size that is able to be set as ringtones.

i recorded something, then went to the options and it doesn’t say Use As, but it does with the tones that came with it!
300Kb is a very small size… sigh
A general rule of thumb is nothing above 15 seconds at 128 KBit/sec. Lower the quality for longer ringtones. I find it adequate for text tones and ringtones alike.
Madison, i have the same problem as you have you figured out how to fix that!!!
i even checked if the sounds were less than 300 kb and they were but i still cant make them my ringtone
You can bypass all the hassle and go to Ventones.com and make your own ringtones for free.
