AT&T LG VU’s touchscreen not working Problem

When you meet the problem on your AT&T LG VU’s touchscreen, which is when you press the outside buttons like the call , go back, end , camera, lock , and volume buttons work, while the touch screen of the phone always died.and sometimes it isn’t working properly. Don’t worry about the problem, firstly you should check a few things befor you sening it to customer service. AT&T LG Vu info

1. If you have a case on your phone it could be pressing on the screen which would not allow any other part of the screen to work.

2. You could need to do something as easy as taking the battery out for a minute and putting it back in.

3. If the wrong buttons are reacting to your touch聽recalibrate聽your touch screen and see if that helps.AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers

If all the methods I have mentioned above can’t solve the proble, then you need to call customer service.

    This phone is crap…. It shouldn’t be ridiculous to expect a phone to work properly for more than one year. The touch screen sucks and works whenever it feels like it….knew I shouldn’t have bought this stupid phone. Ripped off again! Thanks AT&T!

    My LG CU920 touchscreen doesn’t work…when you touch the numbers on the keypad(1-0), you actually get the “back, call or option” keys..nothing I do fixes this problem…wish someone would tell me how; this phone is a waste of money…

    My sister, brother and I received our phones a year ago. All our phones stop working around the same time. Their is know way that all our phones are doing the same thing at the same time. I have some co-workers that phones are showing the same signs. We are coming together to have att held responsiable for these cheap phones. I refuse to pay $50 for something not under my control. $50 from everyone that have a poorly made phone returned is a lot of money.

    Please do not buy this phone, it is TERRIBLE..the touch screen never does what you want it to and it just suddenly started workin. Please do not waste your money, LG phones suck in general.

    This phone suxs.. my mom bought it for me when i was in basic and 6 weeks short of the 1 year anny of me buying it the thing just broke.. at & t says it was physical damage and wont replace it. cant believe theyd rip off U.S. citizens let alone united states uniformed people.. its a discrace of a phone.. please people do not waste your money!! the touch screen never worked and not to meantion that but it was the only way of using the stupid phone.

    All of the LGarbage Vu’s should be recalled and issue the consumer a FULL refund on gp alone. If not that, credit the consumer’s account everyday the phone malfunctions. I’m sure that would get the company’s attention. My phone started this crap 9 months after I received it, sent it back to ATT, sure enough the replacement phone repeated the same foolishness in the same amount of time. The worst part about this is that I referred this phone to my brother, niece, and coworker; so now I’m feeling real jacked up for giving bad advice.

    The LG Vu phone is garbage. The touch screen stopped working. Don’t buy a touch screen phone. They need to make these phones to last out your 2 year contract. Junk. I’m very angry.RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

    The LG 920 was a good phone until the screens started going wacky and then my thumb print braking the screen. AT&T should give all the customers that bought this crap an Apple I phone for free plus a year of free service. I got the warrantee on this phone and it went out in 1 year and 6 months. The worst thing is I lost all my phone numbers because I did not store them on the sims card.AT&t can not extract them from the phone,and LG customer service doesn’t know what they are doing. Once these liquid crystal screens go out they are worthless. I think it is a software problem.

    wow; my mom bouqht me a lg vu fone off ebay, i havent qotten it in the mail yet.
    but im worried if she wasted her money buyinq this fone for me.
    all the reviews say the touch screen stops workinqq; but there are some people who LIKE the fone.
    all i do with a fone is TEXT TEXT & TEXT :D
    i dnt make calls or use the internet.
    will this still make the battery power die faster like alot of people are sayinqq????
    i hope my soon to be fone works out :\

    I have an LG and it just quit today! It lasted about 4 months this is theft in my opinion!! The touch pad will not push under your thumb but to the right.And to the left of the screen it only pushes buttons on the right…That was 100 dollars and tomorrow I have to buy a new phone,because as AT@T knows we have to have our phones. I will not buy another LG . DO NOT BUY AN LG PRIME PHONE THEY ARE JUNK!!

    I’ve had my LG Vu for a little over a year and tonight, the touch screen stopped working. Now, let someone be late with a payment and they are quick to shut off your service so why must we put up with pieces of junk phones? I think AT&T should replace these phones free of charge since so many consumers are having similar problems.

    This is my THIRD LG VU phone in less than a year and all three times the touch screen was not working properly, what a peace of JUNK! Just to think I was going to buy an LG Flatscreen TV for Christmas……NOT not more. That company and AT&T suck, I am now going to go with Verizon, tired of AT&T playing me!

    Im soooo fucken pissed…. I’ve been putting up with this for TOO LONG! i do a search and what do i find??? Everyone else having the same god dam problem. Okay my case? First the battery was dead after 10 minutes of being fully charged, buttons became un responsive, eventually it didnt pick up anything. O i must have misused it. I go in to get it replaced, lost allLLLl my info. Second round. Buttons are off, battery lasts an hour, its repeating the same problems in the same amount of time. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS BUILDING THIS PHONE WITH??? paper?? is there paper in your phones?? I remember 2004 my very first phone ever, NOKIA, basic ass little fone. I NEVER EVER EEEEVER HAD to deal with this. So this is how its gonna be hmm?? well im gonna make sure all 378 friends of mine know your shit sucks! 378 hahah very little yes, but word goes around. I hope everyone else hear does the same. QUickly post a quick little “LG FUCKEN SUUUUCKKSSSS!!! And IM STRESSED OUT OF MY FUCKEN MIND”

    I have had this phone only 3 weeks, touchscreen has totally failed. Does ATT care? So what now I have to go through the entire pain in the butt warranty system? Screw that…I am just gonna go back to using smoke signals.

    I had brought the LG Prime on December 24th and 5 months later the touch screen just all of a sudden stop working. This is the first ever problem I had with At & T phones, which is making me upset

    The same thing happened to my son. He lost all his info and over 200 #’s AT&T just said sorry and charged him $40 for a cheap flip phone! He will NOT go with AT&T again.

    I have had my LG VU phone for literally only 2 months, if that…. after about a month, the touchscreen stopped working for a few hours, but the outside buttons would work. It eventually started working again, but then yesterday morning it stopped working again. I have afeeling this phone is now garbage, and unfortunately i bought it on ebay so i dont think theres any warrantee on it. Fucking phone is apparently a complete piece of shit based on TONS of other people’s posts on various sites telling practically the identical story. i am so annoyed… at this point i think the only solution to calm my frustration is to smash it to smitherines. ugh…

    This is my second phone from ATT it was still under warranty so i sent it back. The only thing that i was upset at the time is that i could not get the pictures of my first grandaughter when she was born. I got another phone just like it not thinking for sure it would not do it again. I was wrong they suck………
    And once again it happened again. The touch screen does not why do they do that but they sure want the payment.

    I have the Pantech Pursuit with AT&T and I’ve had three of the same phone, two of which had the touch screen die before the warranty was reached.
    I don’t know if this has anything to do with the thread, however.

    Had lg vu for 9 months, paid $50 to get replaced after touch stopped working.
    The new phone has the same issue with screen not working within 5 months. So now I go buy a xenon gr500 and the same thing happens within 6 months. I deserve better than this from a company, but try and leave and you’ll have to PAY YOUR WAY OUT OF A CONTRACT! $150 cancellation, $5.99 phone insurance, $50 replacement fee, $100 for Xenon gr500 all in one year. AT&T has taken over $300 of my hard earned money and has delivered pure CRAP. I refuse to call 1800 and listen to more bullshit

    This morning when I got up my lg vu was working just fine but a few hours later the gosh darn phone decieded it didn’t want to work anymore. I don’t understand what the promblem could possiblely be because I just got the phone two months ago, if I even had it that long. I tried everything from turning of the phone to removeing the battery while the phone was still on, but dispite all of my efforts my phone still refuses to work. Im beyond frustated right now :/

    I called myself an it unblocked for awhile. Had to do it again the next day. Think it became blocked when it was pressed up against something in my bag. Have not had it quit in a few days now.

    This is the worst phone I have ever had. The phone dials another persons number with my ear while I’m talking to someone else, it also turns the phone off several times while I’m talking. It also erases numbers when it wants to. I can hardly make out numbers unless I look for a magnifying glass, lots of bad features. Worst Phone do not buy. At&t will not change. My husband has the same phone and all the same problems. I only have it 5 months and it has been horrible, I lose business call all the time as my ear turns them off.

    Same thing touchscreen dont work. Took it to a shop he said he fixed it ($65 later) happened again so I went to at&t they said they wont handle the lg really shold look at these comments and realize theyre gonna lose money cuz its not our fault like they made me feel!!!

    Well, I suggest your change one new touchscreen phone, the lg Vu is outdated, especially it is nearly not possible to fix the touch stopped working problem.
