1If you have had at&t phone for over a year, att will give you a price somewhere between the no contract price, and the contract price, but you will have to sign for another 2 years. Its called an upgrade.
2.If you are within two months of renewing your contract, you can get a new phone from them at a discount with renewal of your contract. If you are not near that time, the phone will cost full price and you do not have to renew your contract when paying full price of your phone.
3.But if you wait till you ever phones are out of contract (past 2 years) they will give you a better deal.
