I’m very impressive with the new smartphone for AT&T -  blackberry Bold 9000. It has a big, rattly feel, loose at the bezel, battery cover, and also included free holster, that’s nice!  The blod 9700 is smoother and tighter put together, but itgenerally appears faster. In addtion,  I think the blackberry bold 9000 has the best keyboard to date,  though the 9700’s keypad is smaller and more cramped compared with the blod 9000 , it has been no problem at all.  What’s pleasing, I find the blod 0700’s virtual touchscreen is great after waddling around on keyboards and the Droidful disaster of the the Motorola qwerty. The AT&T BlackBerry Bold 9700 is marketed as the blackberry Bold 2, with not much fan-fare, so what’s to complain if RIM continues to tinker and improve, and some may have noticed that the trackball has been replaced by a trackpad, which is a significant change. Here too, the transition has been smooth and my early impressions on the trackpad are very positive. The Bold is an advanced platform to begin with, so changes are likely to be subtle rather than showy, but the 9700 has some real curb appeal going for it. RIM has to get with the program on browsing and memory, which they are reportedly in the process of doing, Other than that, pretty much right where they need to be.

The only complaint would be that the “track pad” in the middle is not completly centered at least on mine it’s a bit to the left and leaves a gap on the right of the button.
