AT&T Blackberry Bold 9700 – New AT&T Cell phones
The Blackberry bold 9700 is the replacement of blackberry bold 9000, but it is pretty much an improved and better looking the Bold 9000. The smartphone has just been introduced by AT&T and will hit AT&T stores starting November, and it will cost $199.99 with two year agreements after $100 mail-in-rebate. While T-mobile offers the phone for $200 with a new or upgraded contract. No word on how much the rebate is but compared to T-mobile’s pricing anything over $200 upfront is not worth the hassle of filing out rebates and hoping to get them in the mail.

I’ve had the BB Bold 9700 for 4 months now. My previous phone was a BB Curve and had NO problems. This 9700 has been nothing but problems since day 1. I have a rate of about 6 out of 10 calls dropped per day! No lie! The phone will Re Boot for no reason at least 2 times a day and email icons always disappear after rebooting. I have called Tech support and have been into the store. The answer I have been given at both attempts to resolve was this phone is brand new. The problem is not with just my unit but with all BB Bold 9700’s. RIM the maker of BB are aware and are attempting to put a software patch on there web site but nothing yet. I feel everyone should have this info and should be a press release but nothing as of today. FYI before you buy BB Bold 9700 Research before you purchase because this is BAD!
