AT&T Adds 850MHz In Atlanta Area’s 3G Network
Good news for AT&T customers, you should receive an improvemnet in 3G Network. As聽 today AT&T has聽 promised it will improve its 3G Network in selected US cities. And it has added the 850MHz spectrum support to some 540 cell sites that are already providing 1900MHz coverage.
The spectrum ’s adding boosts capacity and improves in-building coverage.聽 The downtown Atlanta and parts of Fulton, DeKalb, North Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Fayette Counties are included into the improement Arena. In addtion, other聽 U.S. cities are alos hopefuly to receive the same thing at the end of 2009,聽 including New York and San Francisco.
